about
We made this song during the pandemic as a lead single for our second album, it was a challenge to make it happen under these circumstances. We were practising at home so when there was a chance of getting into the studio we made it happen as quickly as possible. Then when we had the raw tracks we mixed and mastered them on our own home studio. We named it 'Mirage' for our guitarist Tony because he was doing his army service in the Air Force at the time.
lyrics
Beyond the veil
beyond the veil, where is your shining moment
unveil,these grey horizons
fly with colors of your own
what is the meaning, i'll see you fade away
i can feel that this has been for me
the sun is calling, i'll fade away, with terms of my own
it can't be worthless, it can't be for nothing
caught in this concrete force, it drives me crazier
higher than ever before
i feel like an animal, it is something that i can no longer ignore
speaking out with a shaken voice, the scales are starting to show
the poison shines like never before
i can feel that this has been for me
the sun is calling, i'll fade away, with terms of my own
when you're afraid, just look down below
how far you've gone, away from it all
i can feel that this has been for me
the sun is calling, i'll fade away, with terms of my own
the only reason i'm still willing to fight,
because i'm still smiling, when i hear your name
the reason why, i still fight
the reason why, i will try
the reason why, i still smile
